Native Studio Art has a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities in Edmonton. Whether you’d prefer helping with workshop preparation and packaging of materials or a more office role during our busiest times. Although we are seasonal there are plenty of experiences for volunteer opportunities.
The Art Material Preparation Volunteer plays a crucial role in supporting our art programs by sorting, creating, and preparing materials for classes. Responsibilities include organizing supplies, assembling art kits, and ensuring that all necessary materials are ready for use. The Administrative Content Creation Volunteer supports our educational and promotional initiatives by developing engaging PowerPoint presentations and eBooks. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in digital content production while contributing to a meaningful cause. As an art material preparation volunteer, you would be responsible for organizing and preparing art materials for our diverse range of clients. Our volunteers need to be personable and comfortable working in a creative environment. To become an art material preparation volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old, have a passion for the arts, and provide an up-to-date resume and one reference from a colleague we can contact.
Art Material Preparation Volunteer Responsibilities:
Organize and prepare art materials for various programs.Follow instructions, problem-solve, and maintain great communication with the office staff. Be available once per week for 2 to 3 hours, four times per month for a minimum commitment of 3-6 months. See opportunities we have for 3 and 6 month volunteers.

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about promoting art and education through engaging content.

You have time to volunteer
We ask each volunteer to commit to a minimum of one volunteer shifts per week, per month for at least three months.

You love time management
Our volunteers are essential to the operation of Native Studio Art planning and organization of materials. That being said, we understand that life happens. If you are scheduled for a shift and cannot make it, you must let us know as soon as possible. Please give us as much advance notice if you know you will be unavailable.
We request that you do not volunteer if you are sick, we will send you home. We want to avoid passing these along to our clients. Please DO let us know as soon as possible through our established texting protocol.

This kit provides an extensive set of high-quality art supplies tailored to the artistic interests of our program participants, recognizing the milestones they have achieved.
